What the site does not do
There are no accounts, comments, forms, advertising scripts or analytics scripts on this site. It sets no cookies of its own and stores nothing about you in your browser. The family tracer, the finder and the quiz run entirely in your browser, and your choices and quiz answers are not sent anywhere.
What the host sees
The site is served as static pages by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare receives the technical details of each request, such as your IP address, the page asked for and your browser type, in order to deliver the page and protect the service from abuse. We do not combine that with anything else. Cloudflare describes its own handling of data in its privacy policy.
Fonts and pictures
Fonts and pictures are served from this site itself, not from a third-party font or image service, so loading a page does not send your address to anyone else. The picture credits link to Wikimedia Commons; if you follow one of those links you are visiting that site, under its own policy.
If you email us
If you write to info@thegreekgods.org, we receive your email address and whatever you send. We use it only to reply and to correct the guide, and we do not share it. You can ask us at any time to delete a conversation.
Your rights
Under the UK and EU data protection rules you may ask what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or erased, and complain to your data protection authority. For this site that means the emails you have sent, and nothing else. Use the address above.
Changes
If the site ever adds anything that collects data, this page will say so before it does. See also the contact page.
