There are many cheats for the computer game, Age of Mythology. In order to activate the cheats press ENTER during gameplay, then put in the chosen cheat and press ENTER again. There are many strategies to figure out on this game and with the many cheats available you can get some help to figure strategies which work for you and not against you. There are different god powers to acquire as well as food, gold, and wood. Once the farms and storehouses and towns are built you do not ever have to rebuild them as you did in the past games. You can get a lot of help from the townspeople and they can help you gather food and other resources. They can go to the temples and gather different god power for you. The 3D graphics are a new addition to the Age of Mythology computer game. This option gives you the power to rotate around the map once you have selected the Camera Rotation option. You can also zoom in and out by using the + and ? Keys. The farms continue to supply food. Some of the major resources are fish, Trade Caravans (Gold), the god power Vault of Plenty (Hephaestus),and the god power Gift of the Nile. Stone is no longer used in the newer version of the game. The Norse players get a movable ox cart to gather their resources in. Instead of having to rebuild the buildings, the ox cart and the villagers can help you gather the resources like the food and gold.
The towns can be built at pre-determined locations and they are called settlements. There are also Town centers which can provide a defense for the players. The god powers are a one time power that will smite your foes, or help you and your allies. The Bolt power of Zeus is an example of this. The bolt will kill any one unit and the meteor power will kill everything in a circle.
